I sincerely want to invite you to write a guest post for my series, “They Move the Needle.” It’s a series featuring people who got their first paid user building a SaaS product, their first paid client through consulting/coaching, or their first customer selling physical products through e-commerce.
I know my publication is still very small, but I honestly have a gut feeling that you’ve figured out a lot of things through your journey, and I think people could genuinely learn from your experience.
No pressure at all, but I would absolutely love to have you involved if it sounds interesting to you.
So distraction isn't okay and I should limit it entirely. What should I do during rest time? For instance, let's say that I have done my work for improving my character. What after?
If you don't know what you want, other people will tell you what you want and you'll believe it.
I might have read this somewhere, can't recall where
Everyone is moving towards a goal, conscious or unconscious. Problems only exist when there's something that stops you from achieving that goal.
Think you're hungry and the fridge door's locked. If you weren't hungry fridge door won't be a problem.
I love how your approach starts with a draft (a hypothesis) and then moves into the arena to actually test it out.
Conencidently I wrote a piece a while back on a similar idea- that mentions you XD. Here's a badly-written take on reversing entropy with setting conscious goals
Been following your newsletter for a little while now. Get tons of value from it and always leaves me thinking about how I can design my life in closer alignment with my goals and values. Thank you for writing it!
Question though: once all the needle moving tasks have been done for the day, how else are you spending your time? Seems to me that after I’ve done what I need to, it’s hard to resist the pull of all those distractions, yet now I indulge them with the added guilt of not utilizing every moment “pursuing my ideal”.
"Effortlessness is the absence of internal conflict." This line really made me wonder why it is that what we want most causes us so much internal conflict!
Perhaps it is because it causes us to shift how we see ourselves, and essentially shift our identities!
This is a whole process in and of itself, and it is quite scary! Thank you for this essay, it gave me a lot to think on !
Legends🔥🙌

Clarity of action leads to the desired reaction. It is your brains way of discerning:
- what matters
- what doesn't
- what needs to happen
Loved the read!

When you have your own UNIQUE clear ideal just above you.... and beyond your immediate reach....every task either serves it or it does not....
Effortlessness is the absence of internal conflict.... GRATITUDE ❣️....
laziness is a symptom of not having an aim....

Would love your thoughts.
