Thanks for the framework. I also want to start writing more, as all the slop around makes me feel like I'm getting dumber. Let's reclaim critical thinking

Love that you brought up Hydra. Not sure if anyone else made the same connection, but if anyone’s a Marvel fan: in Captain America, Hydra is formed from Nazi scientists, and the movie trains and forms ideas for the masses to hate the idea of Hydra.

As always, You brought right article at the right time. Recently, I have been facing Writer's Block ( Sorry! I use this fancy term when I am delaying writing stuff) and this article made me take a quick action which is THINKING. Thank You So Much Craig!

Great! Intelligence is a great skill that every human is meant to acquire. However, since the backbone of intelligence is simply thinking deeply about ideas on reality, that's one of the hardest experience humans are afraid to face. To think is really a difficult thing to do because thinking exposes humans to their greatest fear: constant evaluation and changing of perspectives and claims that they are much convenient with.

I’m gradually starting to understand what people mean by fluffy writing and word salad.

The words sound meaningful, but they don’t register with real human experience. There’s no lived perspective behind them.

It’s not that the sentences are meaningless. They often make logical sense. But after reading them, nothing stays with you. They leave no mark on your brain.

They say something, but they don’t really communicate anything.

I love the framework and how easily you explained something so crucial for life.

Life is problems; you can solve those problems if you can think about them deeply and clearly. And writing them can make it even easier bc you can't make excuses once all the reasons are written down; you'll need to evaluate and make sense of them.

This was a very enlightening read. However it diverges from the main point of attaining intelligence through writing. I will indeed focus on that endeavor but it lacked continuity in the whole structure. I’m a neophyte, but that was my analysis.

Interesting framework. My own experience has been different. Some of my biggest insights didn't come from putting a question through a framework, but from observation, silence and contemplation. From being okay with not knowing and not seeing it yet. Often, a different way of seeing emerged. From there, thinking became much easier and the outcome better than I could have anticipated.

Really a useful essay. I will definitely try the framework and see if it works for me. Thanks.
